Pink Cable Hat for my girl

Turquoise Bikini for my baby :)

This bikini is for my baby girl Monika. She is 3 and a half months now. We are planning a vacation next month and I made her this cute bikini. I am making a diaper cover too. Expect pictures in the next post.
Last year I made turquoise bikini for me. I already blogged about it HERE. I guess this summer we will have same bikini with my baby. :)

I was working with a hook number 3 and I had to modify the patterns...

Baby Girl Shoes

Round 1: ch 18, 2 hdc in 3rd ch from hook, 14 hdc, 4 hdc in last ch (these last 4 sts will turn your work, so you can continue working down the opposite side of your foundation chain). 14 hdc, 2 hdc in last ch that already has 2 hdc in it.
Join with sl st to the top of the chains you skipped at beginning of the round (36).
Round 2: Ch 1 , 2 sc in each of the next two stitches, 5 sc, 7 hdc, 2 hdc in each of the next 8 stitches, 7 hdc, 5 sc, 2 sc in each of the next two stitches.
Join with sl st (48).
Round 3: Ch 1, 2 sc, 2 sc in next stitch, 11sc, 6 hdc, 2 hdc in next stitch, 2 sc in each of the next 8stitches,
2 hdc in next stitch, 6 hdc, 11sc, 2 sc in next stitch. Join with sl st (60).
Round 4: Sl st all the way around sole through back loops only. Join with sl st (60).
In the next round you will be working back over what you just did. You will need to work through both the slip stitches and the back loops that you just worked. This makes for a thick round and gives body to the bottom of the shoe.
Round 5: Ch 2, 7 hdc, 13sc, 3 hdc, 14 dc, 3 hdc, 13 sc, 7 hdc, Join with sl st (60).
Round 6: Ch1, 16 sc, 28 hdc, 16 sc. Join with slip stitch (60).
Round 7: Ch 2, skip first stitch, 7 hdc, 9 sc, (2 hdc, skip next stitch) 9 times, 1 hdc, 9 sc, 6 hdc, 1 hdc in joining stitch of previous round. Join with slip stitch (51).
Round 8: Ch 1, skip first stitch,1 sc, sc2tog, 14 sc, skip next stitch, (1 hdc, skip next stitch) 7 times, 14 sc, sc2tog, 1 sc in joining stitch of previous round. Join with slip stitch (39).
Round 9: Slip stitch all the way around. Fasten off.

Newborn baby mitts

Chain 3, join with a slip stitch into a ring.
Round 1: ch3, make 11dc into ring, slip stitch to join. (12sts)
Round 2: ch2 then 1hdc in same stitch as ch2, 2hdc in each stitch all around, join with slip stitch. (24sts)
Rounds 3 - 10: ch2, 1hdc in each stitch all around, join with slip stitch. (24sts)
Rounds 11: ch4, 1hdc in second stitch, * ch2, 1hdc in second stitch, repeat from * to end of round. Join with a slip stitch.
Rounds 12: ch3, 1dc in each each stitch all around. Join with a slip stitch.

Summer crafts

Hello everybody! I haven't written any post in a really looong time. :( That doesn't mean that I haven't crafted. I was working on a big project. You will see the results when it's time. :)

Grey cable hat for my fiance :)

Hi everybody! I made this hat for my fiance. If you remember I made him a shawl too and I wrote a post about it a month ago. The hat and the shawl are the same color and they have cables to match. This winter is almost finished and the hat is probably going to wait for the next season. But I am happy I made it now!

I really like this pattern. Its very easy to make.

Grey shawl for my fiance :)

I started knitting this shawl in December. In January I didn’t knit. I had a vacation and I was traveling with my fiance for 10 days. After that I had a lot of work for my job.
Finally I have more free time and I knit again :)) I finished the shawl today. Next project is grey cable hat to match with the shawl.

Purple slippers and flower

It's getting cold lately so I made my self these slippers. They are very easy to make.

Crochet baby sneakers

These are my first crocheted sneakers and I like how they turned out. 

They are a gift. I made them for a 6 month old baby. I hope they will fit him well.

It is not hard to make them so if you have a time and a desire Just do it! ;)

Baby girl card

Here is a new baby girl card from me. The pattern for the mini dress I found here (Ravelry).

I knitted the sweater few years ago and it is with naked shoulders.

My first cable hat

With this hat I learned how to knit cables. I’m soooo happy and satisfied :))


This is how it started... This weekend my friend visited me and said that she likes a new knitted rasta hat so I helped her to find one on Ravelry. We found this pattern. My mum told us that it is very easy to knit a cable and she taught us how to make them. The same day I started knitting а hat for me, but with 12 cables instead of 6 because the yarn was thin. 

And here are the results...

Hat for my dear brother :))

Tree weeks ago I knitted a hat for my boyfriend. 

My brother was jealous and he wanted the same hat for him. I took the same yarn in a similar color and this is the result.

Knitted shawl & hat for my boyfriend

I hope you had great time for the holidays and I wish you to make a lot of beautiful and unique crafts this year!

My year started with knitting. I haven't knitted for a long time. I made a shawl and a hat as a gift for my boyfriend. I like the yarn and how they turned up.
